Terms of Service
Last updated: August 1, 2026
1. The service
Compromise lets a group create a room, answer questions independently, and receive a recommended option or meeting time based on those answers, along with an explanation of why it was chosen. These terms govern your use of the service.
2. Access without accounts
There are no user accounts. Access to a room is granted through a room link and a token stored in your browser. You are responsible for keeping a host link private if you don't want others to have host controls over your room.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Compromise to collect answers through deception or coercion, to submit unlawful, harassing, or abusive content, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
4. Content you submit
You retain ownership of the options and answers you submit. By using the service, you grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to operate the scoring and results features described in these terms.
5. Service "as is"
Compromise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
6. Termination
We may suspend or remove a room that violates these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
